@George-K said in Classical vs Pop music: Most classical music makes me want to throw a chair through a window..... Hmpfh..... Philistine. But you knew that, of course. ("Philistine" means a : a person who is guided by materialism and is usually disdainful of intellectual or artistic values b : one uninformed in a special area of knowledge) George, do you prefer Ode Rico or Parfum de Vandoren?

But guys, this isn't over political reasons, these are basic questions of good vs evil. Right and wrong! They are entirely justified. They should probably set fire to the headquarters of GiveSendGo, just in case.

I watched an NBA game a couple days ago. Omg the names on the backs of the jerseys. Freedom and BLM and Justice everywhere. What a bunch of primates we are. lol. SMOD will be doing the universe a favor but I’ll enjoy it all while it lasts.

@Mik said in My apologies to Alan Rizzo: I would think on this auspicious birthday you could have found something a bit more introspective to apologize for.... Funny I posted that before realizing it was my birthday. These days my first inkling is when I go on social media.

@Klaus said in Hate Chrome: I must say I really prefer Edge these days. Is Chrome the new Netscape? Haven't tried Edge much. I like Chrome... it's fast, too. Isn't Edge built on the same chromium baseline?

@LuFins-Dad said in Photoshop this out, please: I don’t know... I’d be pretty embarrassed if my son wore a Redskins cap... Not because of political correctness, but just because they suck. As always, the voice of reason.

Another one... First, an A list writer lays out a demo of a song he's written. You will hear what is called a "click track". That insures the beat stays consistent. Yes, most start out this basic: Link to video Next step, the song gets pitched, an artist picks up the song. It goes to the sausage makers. The finished sausage is now ready to be laid to tape... (except they don't use tape any more...) Link to video Now here's that same songwriter after his sausage was made.... Link to video

Congressmen were never meant to be anything, other than part-time and their service was just that - service. That's why their terms are only two years. The Senate is the more deliberative body, supposedly populated by wiser heads, less subject to the whims of the moment, hence their six year terms. You get what you pay for, applies to crooked politicians.

Interesting. I remember when I was in india, the houses built in some of the poorer areas made from cow dung bricks. Fairly common there.

AZ held an investor call today. This is their second halt, last person ended up being diagnosed with MS so they didn’t attribute her adverse event to the vaccine. https://www.statnews.com/2020/09/09/astrazeneca-covid19-vaccine-trial-hold-patient-report/
